Statement from the US Department of Defense:The spokesperson said- We do not support the statement of Rahul Gandhi; Rahul had said- BJP brought China-Pak together

Rahul Gandhi said in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday that China and Pakistan have come closer because of the foreign policies of the BJP-led government. Regarding this statement, America has said that it does not support it.

When US State Department Spokesperson Ned Price was asked for his opinion on Rahul Gandhi's statement, he said that I leave it to the representatives of the Pakistani and Chinese government to talk about their relationship. I absolutely do not support such statements.

America said - it is not necessary that every country should choose between China and America,
when asked about Pakistan working together with China, he said that it is not necessary that the country should choose between America and China. However, he said that there are many benefits of partnering with America.

He said- 'We have repeatedly focused on the fact that no country in the world needs to choose between America and China. We try to give people options. We feel that the benefits that countries get in partnership with America are not available in partnership with China.

He also said that Pakistan is a strategic partner of America. The US government has an important partnership with Islamabad and it is a relationship that they value on many fronts.

Bringing China-Pakistan together
: On February 2, Rahul Gandhi said in the Lok Sabha that the Narendra Modi government has brought Pakistan and China together. He said that this is the biggest crime of this government towards the people of this country. He said that China's point of view is very clear as to what it has to do. The biggest strategic goal of India's foreign policy has been to keep China and Pakistan apart. This government has worked to bring both of them together.
